Are you a beer lover?  Volunteer with us!

We are now seeking volunteers for the 2013 Heritage Sandy Springs BeerFest.  To inquire, contact us via email and provide your full name and email.

Why volunteer?

Your volunteer efforts help support Heritage Sandy Springs, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to building community through preserving and promoting the historic and cultural identity of Sandy springs.  Proceeds from the Beer Fest support the free public programs of Heritage Sandy Springs, including the popular outdoor summer concert series, Concerts by the Springs; our educational and museum programming, like Turtle Tours; the ongoing preservation of beautiful Heritage Green, the 4-acre park in the heart of Sandy Springs, and much, much more!

Plus, you’ll receive some awesome benefits, including:

  • A complimentary “Brew Crew” t-shirt;
  • Free admission;
  • Complimentary beer samples;
  • And the chance to mingle with fellow beer enthusiasts!

What do volunteers do?

Most volunteers will be assigned to a specific table and will pour 3 oz beer samples for patrons during their two-hour shift.  A high level of maturity is required, and a knowledge of beers being served is welcome.  Other volunteers may be helping with ticketing, merchandise sales, or running ice.  Please be courteous and helpful to all participants.

Minimum Age Requirements

All beer pouring volunteers must be a minimum of 25 yeras of age before the event to volunteer.  Volunteers ages 21 – 24 may assist in non-pouring roles.

All volunteers must complete mandatory virtual training before volunteering for the Beer Fest.  More information will be sent to volunteers after applying to volunteer.  No tasting is allowed while pouring according to Georgia state law.  Please be mindful of all rules and regulations.
